Metro Station rocker Trace Cyrus has several pieces of body art, and after getting a matching design to his singer father Billy Ray Cyrus he now can’t wait until 17-year-old Miley is old enough to have her flesh inked too.

He said: “I already have a matching one with my dad, there’s no reason I wouldn’t do it with my siblings. Someone you’re that close to, it’s something that means something to you obviously, so why wouldn’t you do it?”

Miley is unable to share the experience of getting a tattoo with her brother for another year, but the siblings – who are currently touring together – are happy to swap relationship tips with one another.

Single Trace told America’s OK! magazine: “She helps me with my girl problems, I talk to her about boys she’s talking to. She has a smart head on her shoulders and anything that she decides is going to be the right decision.”

Trace, 20, also revealed he and his mother Tish are getting matching tattoos done.

He added: “My mom’s going to get a ribcage tattoo that is definitely the biggest tattoo she’s ever gotten. I’m definitely proud of her for that. It will definitely be a little bit different of an experience for me. I’ve never gone to get a tattoo with my mom ever. She’s taken me to get a tattoo but we’ve never both gotten one at the same time.”

Monica Bailey Tattoo, I first started my tattoo sleeve when I was about 19. Roman started it and Kirk from Bone Daddy's finished it. It was a memorial for my Papa, he would often say "red skies at night sailors delight, red skies in the morning sailors take warning". Five years later Jym Warf from Inkaholics finished the rest of my tattoo arm with a theme that resembles "Alice in Wonderland". All of the characters have faces and personalities. My name is Brittnee. On my right side is a tiger which I got right after I had my daughter. The tiger represents strength. I have a "B" for Brittnee of course. On my left side I have a bushel of roses to represent my Grandma who passed and loved to grow roses in her garden. On my left wrist is a dove and on my right is my daughter's name.
